Our recent family holiday in Charleston SC gave us happy memories. An adventure our children enjoyed and asked when do we return?
After unpacking, we immediately decided to catch a ride on a
horse-drawn-carriage tour of the historic district.
As we stepped back in time to an era of graceful antebellum
homes, the stories about the people and their lives were
fascinating. We wanted to spend the rest of the day riding
through the historic distict hearing stories about the history
of these beautiful homes. However, the tour was over.
The historic district, the beaches, the plantations or many other excitings tours could be a trip to Charleston as a weekend getaway or an extended visit.
